Arya Kanya Pathshala Post Graduate College (estd. 1966) is one of the oldest college of Khurja , the Ceramic city of India; the college is affiliated to Chaudhury Charan Singh University, Meerut devoted to the cause of education, culture and women’s emancipation. The college is recognized by U.G.C under section 2 (f) and 12 (B) of the U.G.C Act 1956. The College caters mostly to the students of neighbouring township and the remote villages of Bulandshahr district of western Uttar Pradesh. The current strength of the college is approximately around 1106.

The college incessantly serves the students with the knowledge of Arts and Humanities along with emphasis on Indian culture, literature and history. At presents the college runs Undergraduate courses in Hindi, Sanskrit, English, Economics, Psychology, History, Music, Political Science, Physical Education, Library Science and Home Science. The college also provides opportunities for Postgraduate Courses in Hindi (Permanent affiliation) and Political Science (Self-Finance) along with PhD programme in Hindi. Under the New Education Policy 2020, the college has introduced Skill Development Courses in Certificate Courses in Computer, Basic Communicative English, Patrakarita, Food Preservation, Yoga and Correctives with the aim to provide opportunities to young women for quality higher education and also to make them more societal inclusive; thus enabling women to enjoy equal opportunities in professional and public fields. The college has 2 NSS units and Kalpana Chawla Rangers Team under the Uttar Pradesh Bharat Scout and Guide, Lucknow; for the holistic personality development of the students. The college also has a Career Counseling and Guidance cell which regularly provides guidance and mental health counseling to the students and also carries out guidance programmes for the society. The college has recently started free coaching for U.G.C NET/JRF in Political Science, Hindi and also general coaching for various competitions for undergraduate students.

Apart from this the college also has a cell for Women’s Study Centre working under the aegis of CCSU and the Government of Uttar Pradesh to empower women of the neighbouring villages. Under this the college has adopted the village, Kila Mewai in tehsil Khurja. Beside this college has a facility for First Aid with all the modern facilities working collaborately with four doctors from Khurja city; who provide continuous health guidance and counseling for its students and staffs. The college achievements and other creative works are regularly published from time to time in the college magazine “Shubham”.

Further, the college has also been awarded in 2021 with BEST ELECTORAL PRACTICES by the State Government under the SVEEP programme of the state government and the Election Commission; for successfully conducting election awareness programmes at local level. Apart from this the college has 200 volunteers working under 2 units of NSS in collaboration with NSS, Uttar Pradesh. The units from time conducts various campaigns and programmes under Mission Shakti Scheme, Muskurayega India, Azadi K Amrit Mahotsav and others.
